Chef Elizabeth Dougherty from Food Nation Radio Network™, will perform a free cooking demonstration and tasting themed for the upcoming 4th of July holiday at the Grand Kitchen & Bath Culinary Showroom on Thursday, June 23rd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Guests will sample Fall off the Bone Ribs, Florida Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Sour Orange BBQ Sauce, Julie Child’s Potato Salad and Pineapple Cole Slaw.

My taste buds are growing increasingly tolerant to elevated spice levels, I find myself yearning for sumptious black beans at any given meal, and plantains now rank among my top-shelf side dishes. Since arriving in the Tampa Bay area, the lofty prominence of Latin flare within the local food scene has taken firm grasp over my palate. Christmas dessert. It can be a kind of mixed blessing, so to speak. Many diners approach the crowning event of Christmas dinner with some trepidation. With traditions like plum pudding (made with suet), mincemeat pie (once made with minced mutton parts) and fruitcake (often made with items that don’t resemble fruit at all), this hesitation is more than understandable.
